“Though he is a specialist for surgical procedures, I find myself preferring to come here even for regular clean-ups. I am one of many who absolutely hate the dentist. However, I find that the equipment and staff at this dental office make it a little more bearable. I can tell their equipment is newer because it hurts less and sounds less like a chainsaw massacre. The professionalism and manner of the staff is great. Dr. Shen himself is a nice guy and takes a patient-first approach to his work. When asked, he thoroughly explained his actions and procedures and made me feel at ease. Patient and skilled. I feel like I can trust the guy and have yet to leave my appointments with a bad taste in my mouth aside from the fluoride coating. Can’t say the same for many other establishments. To sum it up this place has modern equipment, well trained staff, a cozy office and a good dentist at the head of it all. “

“I love Dr. John Shen! He is very friendly and professional at the same time! What a great combination! He speaks mandarin fluently in additional to English. He is very patient and addressed my questions and concerns about my dental care/teeth in great details. His office is very clean, new and has the latest technology. My husband and I are both his patients. I highly recommend Dr. Shen! “

“Came into Dr. Shen’s office to get an exam and cleaning done. Katherine, his assistant, was super helpful in helping me understand what was going to be done during my visit and helping me understand my insurance. Dr. Shen was just as awesome in explaining to me about the small problem areas I had and the things I needed to do to to improve my oral health. Luckily, no major problems were found during the exam. The cleaning was so gentle and thorough and my mouth felt so squeaky clean afterwards!! Everyone was so friendly, the office is very clean!!! I felt very comfortable the whole time during my visit. And the best part is ice cold water or apple juice in the mini fridge located in the waiting room! Ice cold apple juice! Yum!! “

“Dr. Shen is hands down the most warm, gentle, careful dentist I know. He and his staff are so kind, thoughtful, and professional. He’s not only very skilled dentist, but he’s a great person as well. I started going to him regularly just because of how personable he was and there was never any pain when getting my teeth cleaned because of how gentle he was. He also wanted me to understand where some of my potential problem areas were and instructed me how to effectively clean it. If I didn’t understand something he would bring out models to help me understand. Overall I would 110% recommend my friends and family to see Dr. Shen.”
